For generations the Peerless name has been synonymous with leading-edge design and an extraordinary quality of illumination. We currently have an opening for a Product Development Manager. Peerless is known for creating some of the industry’s most advanced and sophisticated products. We study how light affects people, physically and psychologically. We create tools to more accurately measure light, and to help professionals better predict the effects of proposed designs. The role of the Product Development Manager is to lead product development efforts for a Peerless Value Stream (First Class/Studio or Economy) and provide back-up assistance to our design and tech support team, lead teams to include, marketing, engineering, quality, tech and product support and sourcing to achieve P & L objectives, Launch new products, build effective relationships internally and externally, provide training on new products, and provide support to sales personnel.The ideal candidate is bright, creative and motivated to excel. Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration. Experience in lighting, controls or electrical products highly preferred. The individual must possess a sense of urgency, be results orientated, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and a mindset for continuous improvement.
