PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with the DMM, lead the divisions Inventory Management and merchandising team to achieve Shopko’s corporate goals of increasing sales, gross margin and return on inventory investment. Directly supervise the divisional Business Analysts and lead all merchandise planning and inventory management functions within the division. Develop and build a planning culture within the Merchandise team. Lead, coordinate, and execute the development of seasonal merchandise plans and the monthly forecasting process to achieve corporate financial goals. With a holistic understanding of Supply Chain costs and capabilities, manage the efficient flow of merchandise between vendors, D.C.’s and the stores.
